Early childhood education have exposed that children have different learning styles and different domains of development. In order for children to learn in their environment teachers must meet student's developmental needs and interests. Most  young children learn by doing, hands-on and interactive play. They discover how things work by accident. This article explain environmental education how children experience the environment different from adults. The author explain that teachers should give students the opportunity to learn outdoors,because nature base activities improves student behavior, outdoor learning promotes communication among students and outdoor learning is alternative to classroom struggle.

There are resources that can be search by subject or keyword. The classroom planning calendar offer information on how to organized, plan lesson and units. Teacher first also provide ideas for working with parents.

    You did a great job with your site. I was nervous too because I had never done anything like this before. I love that there are so many teachers out there that are willing to share their amazing ideas. I plan to use all of these websites as resources when I am back in the classroom.
